Cetus Position NFT conversion

Introduction:

Cetus is one of the largest decentralized exchanges (DEXes) on the SUI platform. Every liquidity provider holds a NFT representing ownership of their position to claim underlying fees and deposited assets.

However, this NFT form sacrifices the convenience and fungibility that tokens bring. Most protocols only accept the assets in the form of Token, which limits the usage of NFT in the Defi space. Therefore, Strater has created a vault that owns a single position NFT to help convert Cetus's NFTs from chosen pools into fungible LP Tokens.

We believe the conversion of Position NFT to fungible token form is important to our SUI Defi ecosystem as token brings higher composabilities and efficiency when it comes to coming up diverse finance instruments.

Conversion process:

To get above liquidity LP Tokens. Make sure you own required assets corresponding to supported pools.

For example, to acquire CETABLE liquidity tokens generated from USDC-USDT pool, you must either possess a pair of tokens in USDT and USDC or a position NFT matched to the pool

Deposit ( 2 approach )

  1. Deposit a pair of assets into the vault, similar to depositing liquidity on Cetus.

  2. Convert your currently owned position NFTs into liquidity tokens. The vault automatically calculates the required amount for your assets and returns all unused deposits and unclaimed fees.

After a successful transaction, you can check your CETABLE/ BUCKETUS token balance on the position page page

Withdraw

  • When holding liquidity tokens, you're entitled to redeem all underlying deposits at any anytime. Please note that the ratio for your pair of assets may fluctuate due to the constantly changing price in the pool

Security:

Since liquidity providers suffer Impermanent loss when the price ratio in the pool vary, we provides the conversion of the pools in pair of stableCoins only. Guarantee the full redemption from your deposited assets. Keep in mind there exists mild difference between your initial deposits and final claim as the price is volatile in the pools
